Mediation - it's a word that is often read in just one context, as describing the process
of settling a disagreement in law. But it has a much wider context, and is actually
all about coming to an agreement through discussion and negotiation - something that
we all do every day! At FRA we are big believers in talking things out to work
through problems and set goals. We do this by establishing two basic rules to make
FRA a "safe place"- any conversation in our office doesn't involve blame
and together with it being confidential, it is 100% finished when you leave the meeting.

It sounds so simple, and yet it opens up a path in which couples can address the
single biggest cause behind household arguments - spending; or lets you openly
face up to the financial difficulties that can cripple your spirit and start to fix
the core problems; or it can help address the often bitter resolution of finances
when couples break up. At FRA we are professional mediators with many years of
